Unity In the Family

Amy Avant and Deidre Britt are the minds behind Unity In the Family, Brevard. Thier inspiration to start a Brevard Chapter came from Amy's father, Dr. Calvin Avant, who heads Unity In the Family, Inc., in Pensacola, Florida. After years of watching and learning how to positively touch the world as Dr. Avant has, they were excited to recieve Dr. Avant's blessings to start a Brevard Chapter of Unity In the Family. There is a great need for programs that will enrich and empower families in Brevard County and this duo is more than ready to continue Dr. Avant's legacy and do their part to help create and maintain unity in families.

 

Both ladies are alumni of the University of Central Florida, where they received their Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Marketing, respectively. They are also recent graduates of Webster University; both received their Masters in Management and Leadership in 2014. Learning Street Child Care Center in Cocoa, Florida, is also the brainchild of these ladies where they hold the belief that education is the key to success.
